Dealing with complaints
I own a unit in a small block and the other owners keep complaining about the noise my tenants make. What should I do?
You may have received written advice from the strata managers of the building about the complaint being made. Use this opportunity to contact your tenant and let them know about the neighbours' concerns. We suggest you do so in writing and advise them that they are in breach of the terms of the lease and, due to the nature of strata buildings, further notices from the strata managers may result in a formal notice to vacate.
