In addition to the rent, what other costs will I incur as a tenant?
Any additional payments you may have to make will depend on the state or country in which the property you are renting is located. For example, you may be required to pay a letting/administration fee to the agent. You will also be required to pay a bond on the property, which is usually the equivalent of four weeks' rent.

Don't forget to budget for the additional costs normally associated with a move such as removal costs, connections, etc. as well.
