Fire damage
If a fire occurs and some of my possessions are destroyed, will the agent or the owner pay for them?
It is a tenant's responsibility to insure his/her personal belongings. The owner is responsible for insuring the premises and any fixtures and fittings included in the property at time of letting. If your personal belongings are not insured, you may bear the cost of replacement.
