LJ Hooker Kaitaia

To whom it may concern
On behalf of my sister, who lives offshore, I had been looking for a house in the Kaitaia area. My sister had given me specific criteria relating to the houses that I would short list for her. After searching the internet and working with another agent, my enquiries led me to met Rebecca Ponsonby of LJ Hooker Kaitaia.
After meeting Rebecca and visiting a couple of properties, it became evident, quite quickly, how well suited she is to her chosen vacation. She was able to interpret my sisters requirements and provide realistic options for me to view.
At no stage did I feel pressured for time, or to make a decision in haste. In fact Rebecca demonstrated much empathy towards my sisters requirements and provided much assistance on what to look for during discussions at each property, pointing out the positives along with the potentials aligned to our requirements.
We eventually found the right place which my sister has since purchased.
I found Rebecca to be an ideal salesperson, who continued to assist me right through negotiations to settlement.
Having been in sales for many years and having lectured in effective selling, I believe qualifies me to recognise a good salesperson when I meet one. Her personality and sense of humour being well suited to customer contact, combined with her professionalism in selling allows the client to feel both relaxed and confident in her ability.
I will have no hesitation, what so ever, in recommending Rebecca to my acquaintances if they are looking for property within her market area.
I congratulate LJ Hooker Kaitaia on having one of the better sales professionals that it has been my pleasure to meet.

To whom it may concern,
John Barlow sold our property at Kaingaroa, Kaitaia in July 2011.
Two years ago we meet John whilst buying a property in the Far north, we had very good dealings
with him, but failed to purchase a property from him at that time as there was a higher bidder at the
auction on the day. We eventually bought a property via a private sale & was disappointed we could
not provide some business to John.
We remembered how honest & down to earth John was, so two years later we asked him to sell our
property at Kaingaroa exclusively.
The property market in Kaitaia was very low at that time, and we found John to be very honest right
from the start. He did not get our ‘hopes up’ and was able to make us think realistically.
Unfortunately we were living in Auckland at the time the property was listed, but John showed
excellent communication and kept us up to date every week via emails and phone calls.
The property was listed in March 2011 and sold on 14 July 2011. We found John easy to work with &
very flexible, we recommend him to anyone selling their property & prospective buyers.

We would like to acknowledge the helpfulness and speedy email responses from your Real Estate Agent, John Barlow, Kaitaia. We are in Australia and relocating to NZ when our sale is finalised (hopefully 31 August) We are looking at lower end of market as a retirement home but John has accorded us the same courtesy and info as he would the other end of the market - which is great for us and his vendor! We cannot view until after 30 July (on our place going unconditional) & as we really love it all his additional info has been much appreciated. He will definately get his sale as we have our hearts set on it - all helped by his timely replies & patience with my insistent questions! Other agents have not been as forthcoming or even interested in our enquires, on other places. I am sure other purchasers experience the same attitude and that gets sales. He is a credit to your company.
