Maintaining Your Property
Rest assured we will endeavour to contact you as soon as maintenance issues arise. In the case of an emergency, all tenants are provided with emergency contact numbers. In the unlikely event a tenant cannot contact our office or after hours number, our emergency tradespeople will provide a detailed report to your dedicated Property Investment Manager within 24 hours.

Application Checking Procedure
We have worked with the team at 1form.co.nz to provide prospective tenants an easy to use online form to register their interest for your property. The form encompasses detailed questions to ensure we can obtain an accurate picture of a prospective tenant’s rental, financial and employment history. The prospective tenant is asked to electronically sign a declaration stating that they have physically inspected the property for which they are applying. When we receive an application that meets your criteria for a tenant we then request photo identification to authenticate all of the details that they have been provided

Peace of Mind for Absent Landlords

If you live or move away from the area, interstate or overseas, you can rest easy when your property is managed by LJ Hooker. You simply transfer an authority to act on your behalf to your LJ Hooker Property Investment Manager. This will allow them to undertake all the required management functions in your absence, while staying in constant contact with you.
